Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Program
Diabetic Retinopathy is the leading cause of preventable blindness in adults. Our Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Program utilizes a Topcon NW400 Retinal Camera and a LumineticsCore Artificial Intelligence Diagnostics System to identify adults who have Diabetic Retinopathy.
Donor Advised & Restricted Funds
Donor Advised or Restricted Funds can be created by individuals or organizations to achieve a donor(s) charitable goal(s). The account can be operated to satisfy several charitable initiatives or for a specific project or goal such as to raise large sums of money for the medical care of an individual in need of transplant surgery or ongoing medical treatment.
Emergency Disaster Relief Program

Mints for Military Program
The Lions of Michigan Foundation provides Lion Mints Care Packages to individuals serving in the United States Military. Donations are collected to mail care packages filled with all flavors of Lion Mints to men and women stationed throughout the world, including those serving in the United States.
The cost of the Lion Mints Care Package is $90, however, all donations help, and you may designate a care package recipient for any donated amount.
Donor Advised & Restricted Funds
Our Michigan Project KidSight Program is designed to identify treatable and preventable causes of vision loss in preschool children (ages 6 months to 5 years). We use a hi-tech mobile vision screener that is programmed to quickly and accurately identify vision disorders such as myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), anisometropia (unequal refraction power), astigmatism (optical defect), anisocoria (unequal pupil size) and strabismus (gaze deviations) through non-invasive testing.
Sight Restoration Program
The Lions of Michigan Foundation provides financial assistance and services to help uninsured and financially struggling Michigan residents with the treatment of vision problems, eye conditions and eye diseases. Please contact your local Lions Club for more information about our eye care and sight restoration programs. For contact information, you may use the Lions Club Finder at www.lionsclubs.org.
